New generation of AI-supported patent searches

The AI full text search in IP7 compass has been extensively modernized and now offers significantly improved quality in neural patent searches. In addition to the completely new creation of the existing AI search basis, additional search methods are now available that can capture and evaluate technical content even more precisely.
One major advance is the expansion of searchable content: In addition to Summaries and Claims the complete Description text for the neural search. This means that IP7 compass can analyze patent documents much more comprehensively and also take into account relevant technical details that may previously have only been included in the AI search to a limited extent.

Multilingual AI full-text search with new search strategies

The Text can be entered in Any language. IP7 compass automatically creates an AI-supported Translation and then carries out The search. Via the Button Preview the translation can be checked in advance. Like the search itself, the translation is carried out exclusively on the IP7 servers. The content entered does not leave the system. This means that German invention disclosures, for example, can also be used safely for the search.

Three search strategies are available for the AI full-text search:

Concept & Meaning
This mode searches for the content concept and meaning of the entered text. The results are sorted according to which documents are semantically closest to the technical idea described.

Technical Terms
This mode focuses on technical terms and technical formulations. It is particularly suitable when the focus is on specific terminology, components, processes or concrete technical features.

Intelligent Mix
This mode combines both search approaches and creates an intelligent overall ranking. This means that both the conceptual meaning and the technical terminology are taken into account. The result is a particularly balanced and powerful result list.

These enhancements make the AI full-text search in IP7 compass considerably more powerful. Users benefit from better hit quality, broader content coverage and a secure, multilingual search environment directly within the IP7 system.
