The review comment search has been expanded and now supports advanced full-text search functions—similar to standard Boolean logic.
The following features are now available:
• Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT)
• Word proximity (proximity search)
• More precise control over search queries
Important Note Regarding the Changed Search Logic
With the introduction of the new full-text search features, the search logic has also been updated.
What does this mean in practice?
• For example, if you want to continue getting results like “higher” when searching for “high” in the rating search, you must now use truncation.
• If the order of terms is important, they must be enclosed in quotation marks (e.g., “fuel cell”).
Previous search | New equivalent |
high | *High* |
fuel cell | “*fuel cell*“ |
With these changes, you’ll have much more control over your searches and be able to refine your results more effectively and precisely.
