Review of 2025 and outlook for 2026
We achieved a lot together last year – and we also have ambitious plans for 2026, which we would like to give you a preview of with some initial insights.
General improvements in the Windows client
The navigation bar has been further optimized for the results list. It is now possible to jump not only to specific pages, but also to specific position numbers.
Improvements enhanced workflow
User Document Responsibility: This option allows individual patents within a project to be assigned to one or more users.
IP7 AI Innovator (advanced users only)
The IP7 AI Innovator allows you to ask technical questions about extensive patent lists with up to 200,000 entries. Currently, only the descriptive text of the property rights is used to answer the questions.
AI – Self-creating/self-filling folders (advanced users only)
A new folder creation feature allows you to automatically generate folder structures based on a technical description or a company.
Folder – Detailed view (Light & Advanced Users)
In the detailed view of the folders, various new fields are available that are used for automatic folder filling.
Compare claims (Light & Advanced users)
In the AI tab of the detailed view, you can now compare the claims of two patents and highlight their differences directly.
Extract keywords and create full-text search (advanced users only)
Another new AI function is available in the AI tab in the drop-down menu under “Extract keywords.”
