Extended workflow – improvement of the “external evaluation”

The “external evaluation” is used if a patent family identified in a search project is also relevant for a project other than the one currently open and thus requires a cross-project evaluation.

This evaluation can be initiated from anywhere within the program. A new feature is that specific mandatory information such as ratings or classifications can now be defined for processing a task. These mandatory fields also remain in place for an “external evaluation”.

To enable a document to be evaluated in the external evaluation, the corresponding mandatory folders are now opened if necessary, which also enables the classification and thus the completion of the evaluation.
