The new AI-supported simplification of the first claim (AI summary) is used for the initial relevance check. This allows the essential content to be captured more quickly and the relevance/ballast check to be completed faster.
Please note that only the first claim is simplified. Secondary claims or further independent claims may exist and may need to be checked.
This feature is available in all versions.
The AI summary is accessed in the menu in the Windows application. This can be done either in the results list for the selected patent or in the detailed view. The target language is also selected in the menu:
